The BETTA is what was created when Grant wanted a board with the speed and glide of a fish, with the performance focused characteristics of a traditional shortboard.

Starting with a more traditional fish design, the outline was narrowed down and rocker was added.

What came of it was a fish that you can stomp the tail a bit more on.
